Images of Devotion
The Ways We Worship Our Dead is primarily a collection of sacred sites and images of devotion: cathedrals, cemeteries, mausoleums, altar spaces, rituals, and the great sacredness of solitude [loneboats]. I document the lighter side of the darker places of life, explore cultural rituals surrounding death, and write/photograph from my travels as a writer, artist, and anthropologist.
